I have seen beautiful patterns and now, I am in love once again! They are fashion doll clothes but they are so cute! I admit it, I’m a history buff and I really enjoyed studying other countries’ histories and cultures. I am in love with European history, and one thing that I really like about Europe is the fashion! I mean, don’t you love watching period films and seeing all those exquisite clothes?
I don’t have a doll any longer, but I will definitely buy some.
Here are some of the clothes I want to make:
Patterns from Paradise Publications Crochet Collector Costume

Looks familiar? This is the dress worn by Audrey Hepburn in the film 'My Fair Lady' in the Ascot Racecourse.(image taken from Wikipedia)

P.S. I’m looking for Austen-like doll clothes because I’m a big Austen fan. You know, those clothes that they wear from Pride and Prejudice. I love the Regency era but I couldn’t find patterns for those. I like the simple style of those clothes. Do you know any pattern books or magazines for those?
Interested in these patterns? I have a lot more.
For “Austen” dresses, check out Susan Sirkis’s Wish Booklet number 15: http://www.susansirkis.com/wishbooks.htm These have to be re-sized for Barbies, but they aren’t far off. There was also a Simplicity Historical Pattern in Barbie size.
